Comfort In My Skin

How I happened upon Wolf Larsen:

I planned a trip to San Francisco and bought a Groupon; it was some buy one get one free lunch thing. My friend who had been traveling with me had left and I had a few more days left in the city. I went shopping in these amazing stores, one of which was Viracoch.  I ran into a Duo Von Dagrate, at this store and shot shit for a while. He was from my town, Chicago and moved to San Francisco to fix typewriters.  He told me his story about how he ended up in this profession. After chatting it up in the shop, I offered him some Groupon lunch, biked to get it and brought it back. Renting a bike in SF was maybe the best thing I did, I highly recommend it. To my surprise he had an extra ticket to Wolf Larsen and offered it to me. I remember this day and night so fondly, its the utter brilliance of humanity. Reminding me how being social and being truly excited about people is what this is all about.
