Valentines Day Desires: Olympic Provisions

I want a big piece of meat or just a lot of it.

It should be from Olympic Provisions, only the best!

Why no one in Chicago is stocking it I do not know.

Grumpy Turned Not Frumpy

So, I went to work and within 10 mins I was super grumpy. I felt like everyone was on my case. It took a while for things to really go well. A friend of mine said whenever I was grumpy  "you can always change your own wave." Today I did just that. During my lunch break I was like 'holy cow it is so nice out. What makes you happy? Dancing.' So I dug deep into my bag. I found this amazing music box thing that fits in my hand! Oh yeah, this ol'  thing with all my old music. I just danced my way out of my grumpy state of mind. Right on Clark street to Livning Legends. I  do recommend this.

A really quick thanks again to Martha Brummett, she knows the best things of this City. Check out these earrings I am dying for. Oh Chicago, we love you!

Shoot! I gotta go but before I forget check out these sites! They are just some really fun people I met today at the flower shop!

Shit... I am running late ...getting ready for my date!

UGH-ANIZING

Thank you Chicago for these beautiful days! The sun was still shinning today and I had to take my scarf and gloves off to go to work. I am currently reading a great book called Perfume.

I saw the movie a few years back and thought, though disturbing it was beautiful!  Currently, I am enjoying the Knock Off Aveda Tea ( bottom of this post) that I made about a month ago.  I gave it to my sister for Christmas. My friends (and co-workers) and I will be making it together; it calms the nerves. Being a florist is so stressful.

I think because of the weather I have been a bit more inspired than usual. I have so much I want to share but, my organization has always failed me. So....I am slooooowy organizing things. This is something I hate. Excuse my lack of posting, I have been writing list, after list, after list to stay organized. Causing me to have piles of list all over. In my past life I was a hoarder.

Still My Love

After walking all over downtown Chicago last night, I fell in love with it all over again. It is such an eclectic city scape. The buildings are just amazing and hold so much history. The Tribune Building was designed in a competition by John Howells and Raymond Hood in 1922. The competition theme was to design "the most beautiful and distinctive office building in the world." The Wriggly Building was the first major office building built north of the Chicago River and Michigan Avenue. The architects used French Renaissance influences in the design of the Wriggly Building. Structurally it was inspired by the shape of the Giralda tower of Seville's Cathedral.

Go downtown, walk around for a little while and enjoy it's beauty!
