I call it the Andersonville Whistler, it is off the beaten path just like the Whistler in Logan Square. They used to be a lesbian wine bar, yet have reinvented themselves into a cocktail haven. They use various organic, local, and interesting liquors for example an Italian Pistachio Liqueur. You should try one of the creations of this very hidden bar. They're knowledgeable of beer, wine and scotch too! Enjoy whatever your poison might by and stop in!
One of the best of Chicago bartenders started here and it is worth the walk from Andersonville.
Be warned, you may end up watching the various old school music videos over a few great drinks!
