Fecund (I Just Liked the Spelling of This Word) Inspiration

I know I may be a bit behind the times in the blogger world but, I am still enjoying it. I do not know when I found the blog, Wit & Delight. Ever since I found it, I have been rather addicted. The photograph slide shows for her recipes are simply perfect. The mixtapes that she has made on 8tracks.com are also great. They have added some serious peace of mind to my evenings. My favorite,  Mixtape No. 8: Move It, is a great way to get out of bed. I hope you can take some time to listen.

Then there is Saipua. Saipua's blog, website, ect.... has caused my sleeping schedule to be off on occasion. I just cannot sleep when looking at these images. The arrangements they are making are stunning. Each one is as inspirational as the next.

I was able to visit this shop last year. It is located in Red Hook, New York. Which is a very small borough near Brooklyn.  I am remembering this day it like it was yesterday. I was able to see two great shops, Saipua and John Derian's store. I also remember having the best lunch with my ex-boyfriend. We loved going to DBGB, where we would get beers and sausages for lunch. I highly recommend mimicking this day. Below are just two images from Saipua. If you live in New York buy one or two for me. Wow, I am thinking I might need to visit New York. I miss it a lot.

Plus maybe I could ya' know... run into an old friend. Which would consist of this conversation of course:

"Oh hey Alec, How are you? Did you get younger?"
"I know, I know, I have been busy... but, let me check my schedule."
"Yeah, I can squeeze you in tonight."
