Apple Crisp with Fig and Brandy

So how can you make apple crisp even better? You add fig jam and brandy.

Preheat the oven to 375.

First you will need about 6 to 7 apples. Slice them and cover the bottom of a glass pan. If the peels are soft keep them on for the color! Mix in about a 1/4 cup of white sugar directly in the pan, less dishes! Add 1/4 cup of brandy to 3 tablespoons of fig preserves, stir in together with apples.

In a food processor blend 1/2 stick of cold and sliced butter, 1 cup of rolled oats, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 cup of granola. Blend until the butter turns the mixture into pea size clumps. Layer this dry mix on top of the apples.

Place in oven and cook until the crisp is toasted, somewhere around 20 to 30 min. Enjoy with whipped cream and ice cream.
